Method Vermouth

Method Vermouth founder Cory Fitzsimmons was serving as Head Bartender at the iconic Union Square Cafe - a restaurant long celebrated for showcasing local producers of all types - when he noticed that despite the abundance of exceptional breweries and distilleries, there were no local vermouths that could serve their necessary role in classic cocktails.

Realizing the need for local, sustainable options for this necessary bar staple, Cory left the restaurant and began a three-year journey of development before launching Method in late 2020. Using wine and brandy from the Finger Lakes of New York and botanicals found in classic sweet and dry styles, Cory’s Method Vermouths are classic vermouths, just made closer to home.
